What you can and can’t bring into the festival
FOOD AND DRINK
NO FOOD IS TO BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL, YOU MAY BRING ONE 500ml SEALED BOTTLE (OF WATER OR SOFT DRINK) OR AN EMPTY PLASTIC BOTTLE TO REFIL AT OUR WATERING HOLES.
No glass is permitted anywhere on site.
For customers with specific dietary requirements that we don’t cater for, we do allow a reasonable amount of food to be brought into the festival arena for personal consumption. This must be confirmed with us in advance of the festival by writing to

A list of vendors and foods available will be posted to our website closer to the time.
The legal age to bring alcohol into the festival is 18+. There is an ID check on entry and any alcohol will be confiscated if you are found to be underage.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted anywhere on site at Ink and Engines Fest:
- Air Horns
- Animals (except Assistance Dogs)
- Audio Recorders
- Chinese or Sky Lanterns
- Drones
- Excessive Amounts of Cigarettes
- Fireworks
- Flares
- Gazebos
- Generators
- Glass
- Illegal Substances
- Knives
- Liquid Fuels
- Marker Pens
- Masks and bandanas (covering your face)
- Megaphones
- Nitrous Oxide and/or Whippets
- Portable Laser Equipment and Pens
- Large Speaker Systems (pocket sized speakers are OK)
- ‘Legal Highs’ and Unidentifiable Substances
- Skateboards, Rollerskates, Bikes
- Large Soundsystems
- Spray Cans
- Unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos
- Unauthorised Professional Film, Video or Camera Equipment (lens bigger than 6″)
- Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
- Weapons (or any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon)
Campfires of ANY kind are NOT allowed anywhere
You CAN bring camping chairs, trolleys into the festival.
